CF&E Investments Co. Limited was established in South Korea as a spin-off from Saichild Holdings Limited, marking the establishment of a dedicated investment platform within the Saichild structure for pursuing selected investment opportunities and developing a broader range of strategic investment activities.

Following its establishment in South Korea, CF&E Investments Asia Pte. Ltd. was incorporated in Singapore on 25 June 2020. The establishment of the Singapore entity represented a further development of the CF&E investment platform and provided a dedicated structure for the evaluation, execution and management of situational investments and strategic opportunities across selected sectors and markets.

Over time, CF&E Investments Asia has continued to develop its investment activities with a focus on opportunities where disciplined capital allocation, active ownership and strategic participation may create long-term value. Its activities may include investments in businesses, special situations, strategic opportunities and other selected assets, depending on the nature, structure and circumstances of each opportunity.

CF&E Investments Asia serves as the Singapore investment platform for these activities and operates as part of the broader CF&E investment structure. The platform is intended to complement Saichild's broader proprietary capital activities while maintaining a distinct focus on situational investments and strategic opportunities.

The establishment of CF&E Investments Asia in South Korea, followed by the incorporation of CF&E Investments Asia in Singapore, reflects the continued development of Saichild's investment capabilities and its approach to identifying and pursuing opportunities across selected markets. The structure enables CF&E to consider opportunities on a case-by-case basis and to deploy capital where the underlying circumstances, investment rationale and long-term objectives are aligned.
